MapleSim: High-Performance Multi-Domain Modeling and Simulation
Importing a Simulink Model to MapleSim

Using the add-on for Maple, BlockImporter for Simulink, you can import a Simulink model into Maple and convert it to a set of mathematical equations. Once the model is represented as a set of equations, it can be analyzed, optimized and simplified using the power of Maple. This application shows how you can take this a step further: from the generated equations, it is very easy to create a custom component for MapleSim!

This example shows how you can import a Simulink model, in this case the F14 model, generate and simplify the resulting equations and then convert them into the form required for the MapleSim Custom Component template. This allows you to define the inputs, outputs and any user-editable parameters for the MapleSim block and, with a click of button, generate a block in MapleSim that has exactly the same dynamics behavior as the Simulink model.
Requires BlockImporter for Simulink and MATLAB/Simulink, version 2007b or later, to execute.
