Bouncing Ball
This example makes use of the elasto-gap translational spring-damper to define the distance fallen and the surface the ball bounces on. The surface is modeled with very large spring stiffness and the damper coefficient models the dynamic efficiency of the ball and surface, reducing the bounce height with each impact. |
