Two Hand Safety System

The purpose of a two handed safety systems is to protect an operator from injury.  In this model, the two handed safety system is for a press operation where both hands must be used to activate the machine, ensuring that the operator is outside the danger zone during the pressing operation.  When both buttons are pressed, the cylinder will extend, when both buttons are released, the cylinder will retract. When only one button is pressed, all pressure in the system is dropped and the cylinder position is locked.

This model uses the MapleSim Hydraulics Library from Modelon.
