Trebuchet

This is a physical model of a type of catapult, the trebuchet, which works by using the potential energy of a raised counterweight to throw a projectile. A counterweight is attached to the short side of the beam while a sling is attached to the long side. As the couterweight is dropped, the sling beam swings upwards, allowing the projectile to fly out.
