Prof. Ian VanderBurgh, Director, Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing
Professor Ian VanderBurgh is the Director of the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) and a Lecturer in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. He teaches mainly first- and second-year calculus and algebra courses as well as online courses in the CEMC’s Master of Mathematics for Teachers (MMT) program, of which he is also Co-Director. In 2008, Ian received a Distinguished Teaching Award from the University.
Louise Krmpotic, Director, Business Development, Maplesoft
Louise Krmpotic earned her Bachelor and Masters of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, Canada and a Bachelor of Education from Althouse College, the Faculty of Education at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. She is currently the Director of Business Development at Maplesoft and has over 15 years of experience working with technology in all levels of education.
