Industry leading companies to offer Maple user community rapid modeling, visualization and simulation capabilities
Fort Lauderdale, FL & Waterloo, ON – June 3, 2005 – Splinex Technology Inc, a provider of visualization software and technology, and Maplesoft, a leading provider of high-performance software tools for engineering, science and mathematics, today announced a strategic sales and marketing alliance. Through Maplesoft’s third-party software program, MapleConnect Premier, over two million Maple software users will now have access to the visualization and simulation capabilities of nVizx for Maple. The agreement establishes Maplesoft as a non-exclusive reseller of nVizx for Maple which will be sold by Maplesoft through its web store sales, account teams and international reseller network as well as by Splinex.
Coinciding with this announcement is the release today, by Splinex, of the public beta version of nVizx v1.5 for Maple, the newest member in the Splinex family of dynamic visualization and simulation software products. The new Maple integrated version of nVizx has over 100 new features and feature enhancements with advanced capabilities for visual exploration, investigative analysis and improved communication of ideas and information. With nVizx for Maple, users such as scientists, researchers, engineers, students and educators can rapidly transform complex calculations and data into richly detailed images or sophisticated analytical models and control systems to provide improved comprehension and impact in publications and presentations.
Once published, all the math is live in the Web browser and as a result, colleagues around the world can work with, and benefit from, high-powered, live math without needing a copy of Maple 10 installed locally on their computer.
