The Fourier Series package for Maple
http://www.maplesoft.com/applications/view.aspx?SID=4857&ref=Feed
The FourierSeries package for symbolic calculation of Fourier series coefficients is presented. It returns the coefficients in piecewise form and is able to handle special cases. Periodic functions can be easily generated and plotted. Also it provides a simple and easy way for illustration of the convergence of the Fourier series and Gibbs phenomenon. The FourierSeries package for symbolic calculation of Fourier series coefficients is presented. http://www.maplesoft.com/applications/view.aspx?SID=1727&ref=Feed
The presented work is a collection of math functions in polar coordinates. It contains continuous, piecewise and periodic functions. General form of a function is considered in most cases to show the effect of its parameter changes on the shape of the plot. In some cases animations could help to visualize and understand the effect of parameters. Some of the functions create really beautiful plots in the polar plane. The presented work is a collection of math functions in polar coordinates. http://www.maplesoft.com/applications/view.aspx?SID=1698&ref=Feed
The electric field for a set of point charges in the plane is calculated and plotted. Beginnig from a set of two point charges, the program is evolved to plot the electric field for any structure of point charges. As a simpler appraoch, the field will be derived by first calculating potential and then using E=-grad(V). The electric field line plus equipotential contours are visualized for any structure of point charges. The electric field for a set of point charges in the plane is calculated and plotted. http://www.maplesoft.com/applications/view.aspx?SID=1453&ref=Feed
Complex functions can create beautiful and wonderful graphs in the complex plane. In this worksheet we some interesting graphs and animations will be presented. As well as a mathematical fun, the results can be of interest in educational field. Similar graphics or animations can help students to visualize practical phenomenons in some engineering fields such as fluid mechanics or electrical engineering.Complex functions can create beautiful and wonderful graphs in the complex plane.
