| We are seeking a Software QA
Analyst to be part of a team in testing our core
product, Maple along with our new web deployment
applications MapleNet and Maple TA
The candidate will establish a thorough understanding of our products and be
responsible for the following areas:
- Prepare test cases
for usability, performance, security and functional
testing
- Execute tests on variety of platforms
- Record defects and provide solution-oriented feedback
Additional responsibilities
include interfacing with Technical Support on
difficult issues, producing test metrics and
reviewing business system updates relating to
sales order processing.
Requirements:
- Able to work in
a team environment
- Knowledge of web-based client/server applications
- Knowledge of Windows, UNIX/Linux and Mac OS X operating systems
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Desire to learn new technologies and techniques
- Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Science or Engineering
- Previous software testing experience
- Experience with automated testing tools, InstallAnywhere, Merant PVCS
Tracker and Maple are an asset.
